Overview
18-Hole Course opened in 2008. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Michael Hurdzan & Donald Ross.
Members-only club near Columbus, Ohio. Hosts US Open Championship, PGA Championship, US Amateur Open, US Senior Open and the Ryder Cup.
Nicklaus was taught the game by his mentor Jack Grout at Scioto. The clubhouse is something of a shrine to St.
Jack. The classic layout is kind to casual players, but more experienced ones will be put to the test, particularly once they reach the greens.
It is quite a thrill to golf where Jack golfed, and visitors can cap off the experience with a quick drive to the nearby JackNicklaus Museum. The course is one of the oldest in the United States, having been designed in the 1910s by Donald Ross and built in the same style as the original Scioto clubhouse.
It has a driving range, putting range, chipping green and putting green. The 18-hole course has a par-72 par-4 layout.
