Overview

Maidstone is the third of the trio of legendary clubs located in eastern Long Island. Situated in the countryside outside East Hampton, the grounds are fringed by some discreet housing and the ocean.
A true classic, the West Course was the creation of pioneering designer Willie Park Jr. , and is now well over a century old.
One of the more memorable holes plays to a green set right within a sand dune. The stunning clubhouse is nestled on high ground with a panoramic vista of the Atlantic Ocean.
It doesn’t get any closer to authentic links golf than this in America, and it doesn’t get any prettier. The National and Shinnecock Hills are the other two clubs in the group.
The course is one of the oldest in the United States, having been opened in 1891 and 1892 respectively. It is located in the Hamptons, on Long Island’s east coast.
The clubhouse is located on the East Course, which was built in 1892.
