Overview

The North Course at Los Angeles Country Club was originally designed by Herbert Fowler in 1921. It was remodeled by George C.
Thomas Jr. in 1927.
After a five-year renovation in 2005, the North Course reopened for play in 2010. The North Course has been chosen to host the 2017 Walker Cup, the competition between US Team and Great Britain and Ireland Team.
The 18-Hole South Course was opened in 1897 and is located in famous Beverly Hills neighborhood. The 9th is probably the signature hole but many players consider the 11th to be the the star with stunning views over Downtown LA.
The par trees on the North course are very long, strong and noteworthy. The South Course has a driving range, putting range and chipping green.
It is one of the few golf courses in the U. S.
to offer a putting range. The driving range has a putting green, putting green and chip-in green.
There is also a chipping range and putting green on the South Course.
