Sunningdale Golf Club was founded in 1900 and has two eighteen-hole golf courses. The Old Course was designed by two-time Open Championship winner Willie Park Jnr and opened in 1901.
The New Course, designed by the famous architect Harry Colt, opened in 1923 and is considered the roughest of the two courses. Sunningdale is regularly found in the top 30 of the world rankings and has hosted the Open Championship, the Women’s Open and the Walker Cup in recent years.
The club is located in Berkshire, approximately 50 km west of London, and has a membership of 2,000. For more information on the club and its courses, visit: http://www.
