Overview

Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club has an 18-hole championship course. It is located in the south-east of England, in the town of Deal.
The Club has been the scene of many Championships, including two Open Championships in 1909 and 1920. It was one of four Final Open Qualifying venues from 2014-2017.
The club also has a driving range, putting green, chipping green and pitching greens. It has been home every year to the Halford Hewitt Public Schools Championship, which is the largest amateur tournament in the world.
The course is one of the most difficult in the UK, especially on the last nine holes, which are exposed to the strong winds from the south. The golf course is located on the edge of a large sand dune area, which can be easily seen from the road.
The driving range and putting green are open to the public all year round, with the exception of Mondays and Thursdays, when only two-ball golf is allowed. There is also a chipping and pitching green on the course, which has been used for the Open Championship.
