Overview
St. Enodoc Golf Club in Cornwall consistently ranks highly in the top of the best golf courses in the UK and Ireland.
It is a James Braid links course with stunning views and excellent presentation year-round. It takes its name from a small church – Church- of the 13th century buried under the sand by a storm in the middle of the 19th and finally released in 1863.
It has been present since, on the right of the 10th Green. Another curiosity is the gigantic Bunker-Dune nicknamed the Himalayas, a sort of promontory 25 m high keeping the access to the hidden green of the 6th hole.
The terrain features significant changes in elevation, in particular the so-called Himalaya Bunker on the sixth hole. There are multiple tee positions, however, so any golfer will enjoy this links experience.
The 18-Hole Church Course was one of many that James B braid designed during the boom in British golf prior to the First World War.
