Overview

Prairie Dunes Country Club is a golf course located just outside Hutchinson, Kansas. It is frequently ranked among the best golf courses in the United States.
The club was founded by Emerson Carey and his four sons in the mid-1930s. The course was designed by Perry Maxwell, and the first nine holes opened on September 13, 1937.
It has hosted the US Women’s Open and US Senior Open, as well as the Curtis Cup and numerous amateur tournaments, most notably the Men’s NCAA Golf Championship in 2014. The 18-Hole CourseOpened in 1937.
