The course was designed by Alister MacKenzie in 1905 and opened in 1909. It is located in the Melbourne suburb of Kingston Heath, which is home to the Australian Open and other major golf tournaments.
The 18-hole course has a length of 6352 meters and a par-4 length of 3. 5 meters.
It has a driving range and putting green at the bottom of the course. It was built in 1909 and is the only golf course in Melbourne to have been designed by a British architect.
The Royal Melbourne course is considered the world’s greatest, but Kingston Heath has the best course in Australia.
