Leading Golf in Germany The Deutscher Golf Verband (DGV), or German Golf Association, is the governing body responsible for overseeing the development and promotion of golf in Germany. Founded in 1907, the DGV plays a central role in the organization of competitions, the regulation of the sport, and the growth of golf at all levels across the country. Germany is home to a thriving golf community, with over 600,000 registered players and more than 700 golf courses.
