Governing Golf in Luxembourg The Luxembourg Golf Federation (Federation Luxembourgeoise de Golf, FLG) is the official governing body for the sport of golf in Luxembourg. Founded in 1989, the FLG is responsible for the development, promotion, and regulation of golf in the Grand Duchy. The federation plays a central role in organizing national championships, supporting local clubs, and providing a pathway for golfers of all levels, from beginners to elite players, to thrive. Golf is a popular and growing sport in Luxembourg, despite the countryХs small size. The country is home to several well-maintained golf courses such as Kikuoka Golf Club, Golf Club Grand-Ducal, and Golf de Luxembourg РBelenhaff. These courses are known for their scenic beauty, quality of play, and unique challenges, attracting golfers from both Luxembourg and neighboring countries. While Luxembourg has not historically produced a large number of internationally recognized professional golfers, the country is steadily growing its presence in the global golf community, with increasing participation in regional and international tournaments. The Luxembourg Golf Federation is focused on continuing this growth and supporting the development of golfers who can compete at the highest levels.
