Overview
Capitol Hill features three 18-hole championship courses. The Judge course at Capitol Hill is one of the great successes of this ambitious project.
It is a tournament-ready course, measuring an imposing 7126 meters off the tips, though the range of teeing options takes the length down to as little as 4300. The entire group of courses has come to be called the “Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail,” which includes more than two dozen courses in the state.
The courses are located in Prattville, Alabama, about 13 miles north of the state capital of Montgomery, which is the capital of the State of Alabama. They are located on more than 1,500 acres of golf and nature, with more than a dozen holes in total.
They were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. , who was almost eighty at the time of the course’s opening in 1999.
The course is located in the town of Prattville and is located on the outskirts of the city of Huntsville, about 20 miles north from Montgomery.
