Overview
The Hay ™ is an essential element of Pebble Beach® since 1957, when the famous chief professional Peter Hay revolutionized the concept of short course. In 2021, Tiger Woods amplified Hay’s vision in a way that few people could have imagined, brilliantly reshaping the property.
The result is an overflowing course of pleasure, including an exact replica of the famous n ° 7 of the Pebble Beach Golf Links ™, as well as holes designed to be played with any club of the bag. The only major alteration has been to the 5th, formerly situated next to a cottage that the club was for long unable to purchase.
Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods have all had stunning victories here; this is where Woods came out on top in 2000 by a full fifteen shots. Located on the bluffs of Monterey, the club’s surroundings are unmatched by any other US Open venue.
Standout holes include the 7th, which plays longer than it seems when the breezes blow in and force a decision between using a 3 iron or a wedge.
