When the club attracted the PGA Tour in 2009 there was grumbling among the players because of some blind shots.
The overall design is something of a hodge-podge, with some holes resembling links and others being parkland and others like those at a Florida resort. The views are so spectacular, though, that it is easy to overlook such drawbacks, and the service and conditioning are commensurate with the hefty membership fee.
It might also be said that a number of the greens would benefit from being smoothed out (in particular the steeply slanting 3rd).
