Overview
More than 230,000 rounds are played over our seven public courses here at the Home of Golf. The Old Race of St Andrews has the particularity of remaining a public golf course, open to everyone, regardless of its immense prestige.
St Andrews Links also manages a number of additional facilities including a Golf Academy, three clubhouses and five shops including the Tom Morris Shop, the oldest golf shop in the world. Come and discover them on the North Sea coast between Edinburgh and Dunde in Scotland.
The Castle Course opened its doors in 2008, becoming the seventh home of Golf course and being part of the largest public golf complex in Europe. The Balgove Race is the only course of nine holes and is mainly aimed at families, children and beginners.
It is equipped with double bunkers and greens, the balgove is a perfect training ground. The Strathtyrum Course opened in 1993.
Although few (15), the bunkers are judiciously placed and the accent is put on the precision of the Iron Game. The Swilcan Bridge and the Hell Bunker are famous worldwide.
