Overview
The K Club is a luxury resort nestled in the beautiful County of Kildare, where the River Liffey meanders through the soft green countryside. Don’t miss your chance to play the home of the 2006 Ryder Cup, 2016 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, and 13 European Opens! As you would expect our aim is to match and exceed customer expectations both on and off our two magnificent golf courses.
The Ryder Cup Course and The Smurfit Course are among the most famous routes in Ireland. Each route has its own characteristics.
The Palmer Race is the first and the only Irish course to have welcomed the Ryder Cup. It is a links from inside land with a wilder and natural appearance than its neighbor, adorned with ferns, heather and gorse.
On TheSmurfit Race wild species of plants have been used such as gorse, bracken etc. and have been planted in a highly random fashion, more or less as nature would have intended.
The course has many dramatic landscapes with dune type mounding throughout.
