Sea Pines Resort

The Sea Pines Resort’s Atlantic Dunes By Davis Love holds the honored distinction as the first golf course in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The Sea Marsh course was completed in 1964 and Harbour Town Golf Links in 1969.

The Resort’s Harbour Town course has been the site of a PGA Tour event every year since 1969. It was designed by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1960.

The 18-Hole Heron Point Course was opened in 1962 and features a par-4 17th that is defined by wetlands on one side and Calibogue Sound on the other. The spacious clubhouse offers vistas of a number of holes and of the practice facilities.

The resort is home to the PGA TOUR’s RBC Heritage golf tournament, which was founded by Charles E. Fraser in 1969 and is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in the world.

It is located on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, just off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The golf resort is located in the heart of the Hilton Head National Golf Club.
