Overview
Medinah Country Club is a private country club in Medinah, Illinois. It has nearly 600 members and 640 acres (260 ha) containing three golf courses, Lake Kadijah, swimming facilities and a Byzantine-style, mosque-evoking clubhouse with Oriental, Louis XIV and Italian architectural aspects.
It is widely known for its Course 3, which is one of the most popular golf courses in the United States. The club is owned by a group of private individuals.
It was founded in the 1950s by a family of Chicago-area businessmen. The current owner is a former member of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Cubs Hall of Fame inductee.
The country club is located on 640 acres of land, which includes three courses and a lake. It also has a pool, tennis courts, and a bowling alley.
The golf course is known as “The Course 3” and has been called the best in the U. S.
by many golfing experts. The clubhouse has been designed in a variety of styles, including Oriental and Louis XIV.
