Overview

More than 230,000 rounds are played over our seven public courses here at the Home of Golf. The Old Race of St Andrews has the particularity of remaining a public golf course, open to everyone, regardless of its immense prestige.

The Castle Course opened its doors in 2008. The Balgove Race is the only course of nine holes and is mainly aimed at families, children and beginners.

The Eden Race was built in 1914 by the legendary Harry S. Colt.

The Strathtyrum Course opened in 1993. The oldest golf shop in the world is the Tom Morris Shop.

The Golf Academy has a Golf Academy, three clubhouses and five shops. St Andrews Links is located on the North Sea coast between Edinburgh and Dunde in Scotland.

It is known worldwide as the cradle of golf, St Andrews links is the historic witness over 600 years of golf. For more than 600 years, golf has been played at St Andrews at the same time as the English Open and the British Open.
